Led by Dr. J. Michael Francis, this two semester online program focuses on sixteenth-century Spanish handwriting styles, including humanística, itálica, procesal, and cortesana. Learn to recognize letters, letter combinations, abbreviations, and Roman numerals, as we decipher original texts from archival collections around the globe.

The immersive program is limited to twelve participants and is open to undergraduates, graduates, faculty, and independent scholars.
